Fuck!!! Jeff definitely deserves to be part of this HUGE band! He's been a hardcore fan for all of his life and now he's having the privilege of sharing the stage with his idols. He did an amazing job in his career alone and also with his friends. He did a ridiculous amount of covers for STP and AIC, his voice is just amazing and i think it fits perfectly in both of the bands. I'm so fucking glad that all of you guys still going and having success. I hope and wish the best for you, guys. You are all a bunch of beast with an amazing sound and a fantastic creativity. And yeah, i'm pretty sure that Scott's place can't be completely filled never again. He was an amazing character and his voice in his good times was on fucking point. It was amazing. But he's not EVERYTHING. Is just another element inside the band, we must respect these guys and give them their respective recognition because they actually created this monstrous band, and without them, the sound should be probably miles and miles different compared with the sound that we have known our entire lives. I know you're all hardcore fans of the band, but for at least 5 seconds, try to think about the fact that the new singer Jeff Gutt is a hardcore fan too and he truly loves and respects Scott as much as you do. So stop the salty comments about it and start accepting that life keeps going and these guys need to do what they like to do for their lives and families. If you really love Scott, then help Stone Temple Pilots to step forward. Support them. Music is life. Not a comparative warzone.
