I have two Saturn consoles now. It is truly a great console and VERY underrated. It's still cheap, for now. Also, a word of advice on the CR2032 battery. If you do not leave the Saturn plugged into the wall the battery life is around a month. I found that out the hard way as I generally kill power to all of my machines when not in use. If no power (even with the Saturn OFF), the battery is being used bigtime. If you have the Saturn always plugged into an active wall outlet the battery will last 2 years.

And since you had mentioned the Jaguar, Tempest 2000 was one of its top hits as most people know and is (was) a reason to own a Jaguar. Well, there is a Saturn version of T2K and it is fantastic!

@ODUBlue

When a man my age in a Blockbuster t-shirt is out here telling people to buy Sega Saturns, he has fully earned my support. God bless you, brother ✊

@TheTOShow1

I bought a white Japanese Saturn a few years ago just so I could play XMen vs Street Fighter and Marvel vs SF. Excellent games on the Saturn. Also, Assault Suit Leynos 2 is an amazing 2D mech game for the Saturn that is getting ported to the Switch this year I believe with an English translation.

@Estryark_RetroGL

I bought a Saturn last week with a Satiator, didn't want to gut my new hardware, didn't own a Saturn before. First game I booted up was Batsugun and I could not believe how good the music was. I am very hyped for the future.

@AxelStone

Nice new hair! 💇🏻‍♂️

@knight0fdragon

Place a dead battery in the stunner (or a metal weight of similar size.) The mold was designed to house one to add some weight and make it feel a little better. If you are also this interested in the Saturn, you may want to play with some of us in the community online with it.

@Danthrax40

It's good to see another new Saturn fan! I didn't get one until 2018 and I still play it all the time. It's the oldest console hooked up in my living room, heh

@NathanOZlegend

with saroo! now like the ever drive it's time to buy!

@kispie

I bought a Saturn a few weeks ago. Didn't own one as a kid but I'm having a blast playing the games!!

@RetroMoments

Glad I picked up a Saturn in Japan. Its a system that went past me as I was all about PS1 back in the day.

@vancityguy

So glad I kept mine. Was mocked at for owning one by my classmates, was told I’ll never get much for it if I need to sell it, now it’s coveted and sought after.

@MrBloodybuddy

Same. A few months ago I started buying all the old consoles. I had built a batocera box that played any game but it wasn't wasn't same as having the actual consoles. The Saturn is one I have been looking for!

@nicka113

Still got my Saturn 1 from the day it came out in the UK including the box all original. ❤

@chefuwu7326

Nice! , your raspberry video inspired me to look for a way to play with a light gun, it seems fun and different.
I was thinking about getting a super scope because I have a snes, but went for a ps1 including a gun instead. Hope you enjoy the new console and the exclusives too! 😎

@mstrikesback168

Gab sent me lol
For $100, I may have to get this! Looks killer!
At some point the pricing for retro games have to come down.

@Nelbroth

Hell yeah! The Saturn has tons of awesome games. Such an overlooked platform.

@coffee84

welcome to saturn world! Great Video. I'm collecting and playing Saturn for 24 years now! Its my favorite sega system. Also got a Fenrir Saturn this year. But the Action Replay doesnt really work with my fenrir console. it works fine as a ram card but the games won't recognize it as a memory card :( Panzer Dragoon Saga even says to remove it cause it won't start with it. I own the same as you showed in the video.
Higly recommend you an upscaler for your retrogaming videos cause the gameplay footage was a little muddy. But otherwise great video :)

@robert5235

I just bought a Saturn Saroo console modded can't wait till it gets here.
I loving my modded Dreamcast

@garganrose

It’s funny I’ve been thinking about trying to get my hands on a Sega Saturn, but I seem to recall a problem with the Sega CD being that most discs for that System are pretty much scratch the hell by now and I was worried that Saturn might have a similar problem, but with that expansion cartridge it pretty much becomes a non-issue.

@thedopplereffect00

As a kid I remember seeing a demo unit in the grocery store (really) running Clockwork Knight. To me I didn't get what the big deal was because Donkey Kong Country looked so much better to me on the SNES. After seeing the price i thought, no way.
