"How to Iron Maiden"

@Bad.Rabbit

Easier cheat... Learn 3NPS in all 7 positions. Play your solo. Shift up or down to whichever position you want your harmony. Play the exact same fingering.

@noahhyatt

100% thought this was gonna be dumb clickbait. Actually good compositional advice for classic electric guitar. Nice!

@goblin3810

Unholy confessions is what taught me to harmonize 2 guitars so many years ago

@Doomlol2611

You’ve helped soooo much on this one! I’ve never figured this out and thanks to you I can finally play some cooool Melodies! ❤️🎸

@RafGuitar

You also need to consider the intervals you make with the chords. If your base melody is starting off the 5th and you do a higher 3rd harmony, it’s gonna be on 7th of the chord which might sound too dissonant when everything is playing together

@FakelewisDBR

So well explained

@salt9485

Reminds me of Brian may, Very cool!

@chrisstark9022

I would always love to start with 3rds in the beginning, then throw in some unexpected harmonies toward the end of the melody :)

@heavysoundlyrics2051

Finally a great, simple and short tutorial!! Thank you Sir!!🤘🤘

@AaronLS.

Wow. Such an efficient and helpful lesson.

@shaferproducergod

Secret bonus tip: record one melody on the bridge pickup and the other on the neck pickup for nice tonal variations in the mix 🔥🔥🫡

@lethicanthus

In Music Theory Speech, you're overlaying the relative Locrian* scale. Something to think about is that this method doesn't always give you a major 3rd for every step on the "root" scale. What happens to the sound when you change the interval between the note and it's harmonized note to only major 3rds? What happens when you swap out a major 3rd for a minor 3rd? What happens when you swap out a major 3rd for a perfect 4th? What happens when you overlay a completely different mode of that same root-3rd?

* It's actually the phrygian scale.

@agx8447

Didn’t understand a word you said but it sounds right so good video 👍

@CaptTripps

Nice perm. Well done, well done on that perm

@blahblah6353

Dude thank you it makes sense when you say to use the 3rd note from the root note I been trying to understand harmony. thank you for your advice.

@beastmode003

articulation adding up is good... if thats what youre going for. but if youre an artist and have your own style, dont worry too much about rules and play your heart out, and if people resonate, then youve done good

@macdaddychad1

Great video. Lot of useful information in about a min.

@chansemorris866

Quick, to the point, useful thanks!

@ike0716
