Getting emerald roaches to give the roaches in my kitchen dysmorphia

@nopenope6034

I think they were staying in the cup because most of them were in it and they were sticking together as a loose group. In the clips they appeared to wander a bit before returning to the other roaches.

I've heard roaches are a very social insect so that's what makes sense to me. That or maybe they were sticking to the cup because it smelled more like them.

Love your humor!

@EdibleKnife

emerald roaches are really pretty, also zoomed in face of an isopod is surprisingly cute and could watch it eat for hours

@enriquekahn9405

@waxwinged_hound

As an arthropod lover, I had this in my 'watch later' playlist for a rainy day. This is that "rainy day." 10/10, needed to see these neat little fellas today. Love their little claw feet.

@massivelegend3620

my love for roaches start of video: 0/10

@Tashishi0

I have never seen emerald roaches before! They're beautiful! 10/10
I used to have a small colony of tiger roaches. They were very fun! I had some that even seemed to enjoy coming out and being handled. And the most excited insect I think I've ever seen was when I put some fresh blackberries in their food dish, and watched one of my big ones come investigate!

@LailliaLum

i have no idea how i got here but i love your humour. dry as the desert xD
and bob and his friends are an absolute 10. especially the shot with the dropplets of water on the chitin is beautiful. like little pearls of a galaxy woooow

House roaches:0/10 Regular roaches:6/10 green banana/orange/domino/giant cave roaches: 8/10 Emeralds:11/10

@MommaOhana

10/10 all bobs are beautiful!!

@Minyassa

Emeralds are so gorgeous and I'm happy that you actually made a showcase for yours. Last time I watched someone house emeralds, he put them into a 1,000 gallon cloud forest vivarium with all sorts of other critters, most of which eat cockroaches, and we never saw them again. I was giving Bob a 9 but when he started biting you I gave him a 10.

@jangleleg117

I learned like 10 years ago while feeding dozens of species of reptiles that not all roaches are like the ones that infest our houses. About 30 out of over 4,600 species of cockroaches are associated with human habitats. The rest are just bugs, some pretty, some look like pill bugs, these emerald roaches look like pretty pill bugs actually. I like them. And they're slow, they just walk around. They don't scoot up your arm in the blink of an eye or fly around like an alien infestation. I used to feed my monitor lizards, bearded dragons, and geckos Dubia roaches. They're a little less pretty, but just as chill.

@TamaseiTobari

Bob going back to the crappy cup was priceless. That alone made me love the little bug.

@caesarsalad77

Thank you for panning up to show the hose, because for a brief second, I thought you were watering that terrarium...manually, let's say.
