God I love these short videos of yours, straight to the point and hit so hard. Thank you for keeping the sponsorship parts in your other type of videos like rant etc
Forgot the timer went off, but unfortunately I was during my break time :/
5 minutes code 5 minutes rest Next 5 minutes your boss tells you we're shipping today
I always forget how useful this advice is. Gotta watch more of these lol
Honestly I've been having this feeling recently that I've not been productive when I code at work, sometimes tasks are so complicated and huge that they seem almost scary, I know you should never look at the size of the task and instead should break it down into small pieces but it still is complicated sometimes, but as you said we're not machines and we must sometimes step back and remember that 😅 Keep coding bros!
0:14 I THOUGHT I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO FORGOT THE BASICS SUCH AS HOW TO WRITE A FUNCTION 😭
I've been doing this for like 3 years now and it works every single time. Sometimes my timer starts at 2min but I stretch it to 4 or 5 min, and if I want to stop - no guilty, I'm already overdoing it
Starting is the hardest part. Just start without any time goal and you will be surprised how often a "Let me code for few minutes" turns into hours. For me fixed time goals give me a false feeling of an accomplishment. 1 hour turns into 30minutes and 30 minutes to just 15 minutes. At least it happens to me like this if I have fixed time goals.
are you in my walls
uuffff my mannn, what a timing its a Monday morning and i have lost all motivation just saw this, went straight and made a cup of coffee and now starting again with this trick hope it works <3
Thanks for this video Box, that was what I was needing
Exactly what I needed to hear - exactly when I needed to hear it.
I felt this Yesterday and then just started coding. I ended up changing the entire interaction system and made it better
