Had a '69 Z-28 when I returned from Vietnam. Spent a year and a half at Camp Pendleton, cruising SoCal. Days long gone and sadly missed...😢😢

It's hard to believe that this car is now 56 years old. You know what I miss? The fact that these cars were so easy to work on and not terribly expensive. I hate today's cars. Some vehicles could cost you damn near a thousand dollars to change a starter. I'm sick of the electronics, the plastics and the stupid evap systems. Not only can most people not work on them themselves, mechanics don't even like working on them.

That is my all-time favorite big block is the 427 it's like the perfect block between the 396 and the 454 you get the best of both worlds
