I saw bear in the thumbnail and i instantly clicked
Bears downfall upsets me as it couldve been easily prevented if cheed stopped making bad choices with his game, collabed more and stopped cancelling his best games (RIP bear* you will be missed) but ye shame it died
7:06 as bear* was cancelled due to work, alpha started dying off (it only really averages 100 per day you saw during 6th anniversary) and alphas basically dead. Let’s hope bear tower defense lasts atleast a few years.
We haven’t really forgotten about aperiophobia, new games just outshined it
Finally somebody who says BEAR* is better than Bear Alpha
I feel like identity Fraud didn't die but rather did what it had to, it was popular for years and the devs clearly finished the game and didn't need to add anything.
Former staff member from Aperiophobia here. IMO The community is garbage itself, the developers returned to the community a month ago and started laying off moderators and testers in the community. The shocking part is that MOST of the developers don’t know what changed in the discord server, so they had to wipe out roles in the server and assign people who they trust. The testing department was DRY several months ago with no updates or levels to test with. For that much developers, some of them are working on their own projects on roblox. They were expected to be working on the game, but why were they working on updates to the game just now? Im glad to be apart of the community back then. So i think their downfall was deserved due to the amount of commotion in that community. PS. This account is hidden under someone. :)
made videos on bear for 5 years really respected bear until the developer just quit out of no where pro video B)
3:18 that music just sent a huge wave of nostalgia
10:36 its actually because there was a piggy merch line and minitoon planned for codes you get in it to give you in-game rewards, but Roblox, being greedy as usual, banned games from putting ingame codes unless ots from the actual site, or in collaboration with Roblox, it sucks:(
6:29 that skin (malbear) is so popular because it was a limited skin you had to go on a like 25-30 minute long ARG to get it, and now with some of the games you had to go to are now gone or changed, you can no longer get the skin. because of this, original players, including me, from around (i think 2019 to like 2021) are the only ones who have this skin. hope this helps
I remember when i started playing roblox back around late-2019 to 2020 bear was one of the games i would always play. It was very fun and i loved the music, ambience, and vibe that it had. One of my favorite maps was lab 56, the track went so HARD man, its still in my head to this day. When Bear* was announced i was kind of excited and when i saw Albert play it i was stoked, but it didnt feel the same way tbh. That doesnt change the fact bear holds a special place in my heart and memories. I think Bear was even planned to be in Forsaken but Cheedaman doesnt like collabs or smth
As a Bear player who has been playing in 2020, I was there for the on the day Bear* released. You are right about how the community just sticked with Bear alpha, the community never gave it a chance from the beginning because they expected data like skins and quidz from Bear alpha to transfer to Bear*
2:13 Key Note* - When the new developers of Apeirophobia arrived, the progress reset them back like 4-5 levels. I'm pointing out that there were only 4-5 levels made by the original title of this game. Not like the video that popped up and showed levels 0-24 (it was levels 0-5 at the time). Polaroid Studios if I remember correctly also created the final 11 levels of Chapter 1 & all of Chapter 2. In fact the developers have been updating the previous levels with higher performance, level 15 also just got an entire rehaul.
I miss playing bear :(
Finally someone remembered about BEAR
12:28 How about bacon, guesty, piggysons, spider, Ronald, piggy the results of isolation, the piggy backrooms, alien, piggy hard mode, & piggy fanmade maps
10:31 people have probably pointed this out by now, but the first roblox game to hit steam was actually Deadzone, which when published to steam was renamed to Unturned. Its like apoc rising if you remember that game Another instance of this happening is with Zeekerss, who made horror games such as "Silent Dark" and "Light Bulb" on roblox. They then went on to create Lethal Company
3:22 I remember that game so much idk how many times ive died to the killer before but gladly I’m currently thinking of making a video of it and the new one as well
