I love coffee but only drink in a couple of days a week and only one cup per day... Usually in the morning. When I was a little girls, growing up in New York, I could remember waking up to the smell of a freshly brewed pot of coffee. I now associate the smell of brewed coffee with the comforts of my childhood and I think that is one of the things I enjoy most about that morning cup.☕❤️
Great video! I love coffee, but it doesn't love me. 😢 I'm 61 now, and I've figured out that I can only have it 2-3 times per week, and not consecutively. So on my "off" days, I have black tea- no sugar. Always before 7 am. Took a long time to sort this out!
I have vivid memories as a six-year-old watching my Portuguese grandmother make us milky coffee before sending us off to school.
I have mitral valve prolapse and I drink decaf coffee. Love it and I have no extra problems. My mom drank a lot of regular coffee daily and when she had surgery the fist thing she wanted was a cup of coffee to get rid of her headache. My parents let me have sips of coffee when I was young also. Everyone is different. 🥰
I also heard that it/coffee helps with asthma. As a person over 70, I also have news for you. Not just young kids today. I drank coffee from my mom's cup as a child. Got my own cup at age 9. As a college student, i drank coffee before bed, as a warm, relaxing drink. As a young adult, my caps were 12 cups by noon. If I had fewer, I would drink into afternoon. I like tea also. Have been drinking that instead of coffee for the last 20years. And my Irish grandma drank tea (and beeer) by the quart daily. Died a week before 104th birthday. Life isn't just medical science. I think there's some rogue elements that operate at random, too.
I gave up caffeine about 10 months ago. I had jitters. Now I only drink decaf and love it just as much as ‘ regular coffee’.
Wow on Dr Zalzal never drinking coffee. I never thought about salt loss due to coffee being a diuretic. Thanks Docs for a great video.
I thought I knew about health. Then I read book The Secret Health Reset, and I realized I had no clue. It’s wild how much we aren’t told.
4 of 6--but addiction is real. My withdrawal headaches are crippling! I missed 2 and 4. Thanks for the fun video!
I'm 71 years old. I use to drink a pot of black coffee per day. Now I drink 3/4 cup when I wake and a 3/4 cup at noon. I have no problem sleeping.
I was a daily coffee drinker. Consulted an ent, regarding tinnitus. He said the cause was caffeine. I quit caffeine, and now, no more tinnitus.
I used to have one coffee in the morning, but made me feel anxious, so I swapped it for matcha for over 3 months now and I feel it made a huge difference in my overall mood (calming), gut health and sleep. Love my matcha latte with coconut milk 🥥🍵 Great video!
My husband & I (mid-70s) share a daily pot of half-caf coffee. But always stop by noon. Not sure how that math works, but seems to work for us!
TWD, would you please comment on the effect caffeine consumption has on bone loss? Thank you.
Coffee is great. But would love to see you do an episode regarding people that take vitamins via IV, as I’ve heard this is popular in Canada.
It’s crazy how little we know about our own health. After reading “Secrets of True Healing”, I started changing my habits—and I feel like a new version of myself. That book is loaded with insight
You touched on digestive issues from coffee. But I rely on my morning coffee to keep me regular! Is that all in my head?
It definitely leads to withdrawal. Last year I accidentally bought decaf coffee at the grocery store. Following my normal routine of three or four cups a day. I started feeling like crap within 24hrs and by 48hrs I thought I had the flu. Felt depressed, bad headache, no energy, and so forth. Realized my "mistake" and immediately went to Tim Hortons lol. It took a good 24 hours of normal coffee consumption before I felt "normal" again. Made me appreciate the efforts people must have to undertake to get over addiction to smoking, drugs etc.
Such a compassionate doctor and top-notch service! It would be great to see them offering consultations through Strongbody soon! 👏
