Chung Myung selflessly sacrificed for IU. He didn't leave her and stayed for almost 1 300 years. That love of Chung Myung to Man Weol is really strong. Their story is one of the most painful ones that I have watched. I can't get over it. Can't even rewatch it becausem heart can't accept it. Lee do Hyun and IU's acting is superb!

The "hate" for him man wol was having in those thousand of years indicating that she truly loves him. The man that she loves betray her in a most painful way. That's why she can't even say his name in those years. She hesitated to kill him that's why chung myung just stab the sword to him. The expression she shows, didn't expecting him to do that shock her. When he says that he wanted her to be his bride. She immediately push him away when he hug her because at that moment her heart waver once again for him and then he was in that kind of position. Man wol telling him not to die just yet because he still need to see how she would kill the important people to him is just an excuse because she already decided to just hate him, not accepting the fact the she was still truly inlove with him. She also can't accept and very afraid that chan seung is his reincarnation because she think she fell inlove once again to the man who hurt her the most. After all, the most painful betrayal is from the one you love.

The second lead story never fails to make me cry.He waited for her all the time,he was always with her but she never noticed him,he was like a dust in the thin air,he was the first guest in Hotel del Luna,he loved her dearly but she was blinded by revenge and hate,he knew she was in the bride's gown,he knew she had came to kill him but still he didn't move back,he even said "I will not regret to throw myself towards the sword if she will hesitate",she never said his name,she went with him to the bridge,he had offered his hand to her to hold it and so they both could go together by holding hands but she didn't accept it she turned away and went away leaving him all alone there........

This song has been my favorite ever since I've watched HDL. My stepdad heard me singing this song before I sleep, and he liked how my voice fits in this song. As he also watched HDL, he requested me to do a song cover when I finally have the time. I tried recording it- but I was such a perfectionist. I always do another recording until I give up. My stepdad was still anticipating for a song cover. But he recently died last January 14, 2021 at 4pm because of cardiac arrest. I never got to do the song cover for him. Now that I tried listening to this song, it always reminds me of him. I'm so frustrated that he didn't get to hear me sing this song one more time for him. I tried singing this song but my chest feels tight. I miss him. I wish I could've sung this earlier for him. But I know he's now in the right place. He won't have to suffer anymore, but I miss him so much.

This beautiful song was used when she saw the reincarnated version of yeonwoo, and he stared back at her, probably not recognizing her but feeling emotions of longing and the unknown recognition that he should know her, while IU teared up... it was such a beautiful and well acted scene without words and short too, but it quickly and easily became one of my favorite scenes out of all the episodes so far because of the emotions and song

This song is for Cheong-myeong and Man-wol 😭. So painfully beautiful. The writers have carefully shown how an unconditional love would be like. Cheong-myeong branded himself a sinner before getting through everything. He felt everything first and though he would know how he will be hated by Man-wol yet he waited.. he waited not to be loved back or forgiven but for Man-wol to finally let go of the pent-up feelings she has to carry for centuries. Cheong-myeong deserves better. Bye. I need to cry first.
