You could never scam me cause I Trust You, Bro.
Missed opportunity to start the modern era segment and have it just be a betterhelp sponsorship.
Very common scam in Middle Ages, and later, was messing w/weights used to weigh products being sold/traded to merchants. The sellers would get less than actual worth, it was a horrible scam that could really affect families.
AITA for sending a mean letter to a copper merchant after he scammed me?
As a final note on Hegestratos, apparently his own ship crew was so disgusted by his dishonesty that they reportedly drowned him. I like to imagine this was an apology to Poseidon. "Oh mighty Poseidon, we're very sorry this loser tried to use your ocean to cheat the people, please punish him."
Just wanted to mention that the 'Stone Age' segment was intentionally satirical, I explicitly admit it was goofy @ 2:36 😂 Few people were took it a bit too seriously, but I was just having some with it. Historically accurate examples begin @ 2:55 - but if you've read the name of the channel you know what you signed up for, trust me bro. :_nerd: Also, I misspoke at 0:42, the stone age is 99.3% of all human history, not 'recorded' human history, that wasn't intentional. :_stone:
I'm at 0:00, pretty fire video so far
Nasir is like that dude back in the day who claims to have some fire but hands you a bag of some clumpy brown that smells like hay.
People be scamming in the Stone Age crazy “Ay if you give me two rocks I flip that shii” “Aight bet” “Dummy”
Bills having bills to pay is definitely the most accurate statement made by my bro trust me 😅😭😂🤦🏾♂️
27:06 that's Henry VIII not Louis VII. England never Louis, they were French King's 29:53 That's Henry VIII again not Henry VII
Hold up bro, don't you dare claim the stone age was simple. Stone tools became insanely complex over those 3 and a half million years. We went from broken sharp rocks to flake-shaped dagger blades that cut like razors and could be sharpened.
The pyro joke was not something I was expecting, hilarious regardless
1:08 I love the SpongeBob styled realistic close up on the trusty club
"Fathers day is coming up" posted 2 days before mothers day
Dude, I know you were mostly being silly, but just look at paleolithic hominid skeletons to know how much easier we have it now. They lived brutal lives and they died even worse deaths. The average age expectancy was in the low 20s.
"Our bills have bills at this point" highly relatable
pyrocynical while talking about self inflating is crazy
bro is trustworthy
