Metroid Prime Remaster is criminally underrated, it's a shame people haven't played it. If you must play a game on the switch, make it Metroid Prime Remaster, you won't regret it. It is one of those games that you must experience at least once in your gaming journey.

New Pokemon Snap is a fantastic game. I'm not a huge Pokemon fan, but everything I liked about Pokemon as a child has come to life in this game. Highly recommended.

Awesome list of games! The Metroid games are definitely a standout for me! I need to check and see if I own the Xenoblade Chronicles games. If I don’t have them, I’m getting them this weekend.

As a Paper Mario TTYD megafan I salute you mentioning it but I thought this list would be more about games few have heard about like: Bug Fables (The game most like Paper Mario TTYD) Phoenotopia Awakening (The Indie I call the perfect mix of the style of A Link to the Past and The Adventure of Link) Crosscode (An adventure game in a league of its own!) Crystal Project (A huge and highly customizable turn based RPG) Cardpocalypse (A deck builder with some of the best humor in a game and lots cute mutant pets!) Those are five games I often like to see on a list for unknowns!

Are you sure the Switch one is done? They’re listing games for 2026, and by Nintendo’s own admission they know people aren’t going to move onto the pricier Switch 2 games straight away. Betting they release Switch 1 games in 2028.
