@FBracht

Dude doesn't activate a single P block, doesn't grab a single Peach medallion. No, he's ALL about the train knowledge.

@weirdbookshelf49

I really like the way different youtubers focusing on the world rather than the races in mario kart world reference each other in their videos

@allendaley9439

In the the immortal words of Mr A, "Sticks and stones may break my bones but ships and trains excited me"

@PineyCaleb

Notice that, while Mr. A consistently shared his fondness for trains (“Trains excite me,” “Trains are sick,” “I love trains,” etc.), he never expressed this idea by specifically saying “I like trains.”

I wonder why.

@AkariEnderwolf

That timing system is called a timetable... it's a thing irl. when Steam Trains were most prominent the steam train owned that section of track until it leaves according to the time table. No train going the opposite direction was allowed to enter that section of track while the first train was on it.

@Ehimherebecasuewhynot

Bro the part that impresses me the most is that Nintendo modeled and correctly animated The Walchearts valve gear On the locomotives wheels! (the siderods). As a steam enthusiast, I am throughroughly pleased!

@SteveRyzuk

Mr A Game slept well that night, knowing he was a really useful youtuber.

@Subreon

nintendo devs prolly freaking tf out with so many youtubers holding microscopes to all their npc's and infrastructure in this game instead of zooming by it all like normal players XP

@stanzaroraevt

One thing i love about the trains in this game is they actually function unlike the trains in 8/DX's Superbell Subway where trying to sit still on a train pushes you off eventually

@MikkelMæhle

This was actually a really interesting video

@maxischew514

9:40 Irl there are tons of ways railways operate on a single track that have traffic in both direction, the most primitive and oldest way was to schedule trains so they wouldnt run into each other on the single track line segment. However as you can already assume this has lots of ways it can go wrong. A common way most railways would insure only 1 train was on a single track section was via a token system where only a train with a physical token, this Wikipedia article does a decent job of explaining it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Token_(railway_signalling)
Today most railways use track circuits and electronic signals to detect trains though based on the semaphore signaling seen on the Sunshine railways I assume they use a British derived token signaling system especially since the British helped the Japanese alot when they built their railways.

@jeremykillpack7265

Lol jp cameo is fire! 😂 This was great.

@Alyssa9-w8z

12:28 but hey, thats just a theory. A train theory

@wyfei2319yt

Mr A-Game, I have an idea. You should follow those npc cars and find out why they're flying off cliffs.

@LincolnTheNerd

I don't have a switch 2 but this is exactly what I wanted to do. Thank you for this video!

@streamverseai

Glad you’re showing this as the train system is awesome. Takes you to hidden places. And missions and peach coins. I have over 100 hours in free roam. Anyone say free roam is empty is a liar or never played the game (still making them a liar)

@CakeKingYT

0:14 YES! YES! I love Thomas! (Although I do like the later CGI Series, not AEG though.)

@legodude494

I love these videos that people have been making on MK World just breaking down and scrutinising things that would normally pass people by while playing. Doing in-depth analysis of these otherwise "mundane" elements of the open world, like the train routes, aircraft routes, and what the AI civilian vehicles do, is just so interesting to show and highlight how much effort Nintendo actually put into the open world. Seeing how the trains could realistically work, and how the AI drivers actually do things, is just so interesting. MK World might not be the best Mario Kart game, but you can't deny the thought that was put into making the world actually feel somewhat realistic.

@bp2818

This was so cool! Crazy, in depth analysis like this is so fascinating! Great video. Really enjoyed watching this with my teenage kids.

@vdog22100

I didnt know Any Austin had a second channel lol
