I'm a 72 yr old bloke, and I have a bucket list. One item on the list was to learn to play an electric guitar. Then just over a year ago I watched on Youtube a clip of an 8yr old Ollie playing 'Apache' while busking in nearby Chester. ( He was with his mum). I was blown away by his ability and I thought if Ollie can do it then so can I. He was my inspiration. So I have since bought an electric guitar, and taken up lessons. I can now play a comparable 'Apache' and other things. What joy! Thanks Ollie and best of luck with BGT.

I smiled ear to ear, and tears in my eyes. His grandfather is freaking adorable and so supportive. The kid basically had it all- talent, engaged w the audience, and embraced as much stage possible. Def a sight and energy they love, most of all, the crowd loved it! It was deserving. Way to go, man… I hope his future is bright whatever he does!

This child was absolutely amazing. Most kids are too busy on their phones, but this young man, alongside with his grandfather, have connected and bonded together over there love of music. Well done grampa.

I’ve been playing guitar since 13 years old and am now 56. What I can say, is I was never able to run around slaying licks and rhythms like that. I’ve always been stationary. There is a lot to be said for someone who can run around and control the fret board the way he does and still sound good. Congrats to this lad and his desire to jam!

As a guitar tutor I've had several students as good or better at roughly the same age. The difference is that he's fearless. All heart. One either has it or one doesn't. He does. He'll GET better and he won't be denied. Rock on! 🤟
