@EpicHD156

glad you FINALLY decided to change the timer system bro I was lowkey getting worried for your well-being

@ForSomeReasonMike

thank god you changed the rules for the timer. because that was genuinely insane that you couldnt pause it.

@gameshock2916

This guy is a madman for attempting any "Can I 100% (any RPG series) in 1 Week?"

@MonoCano778

Did anybody else notice the amount of small skits/cutaway gags in here? Nathaniel clearly has a knack for them, I’m glad he’s doing this kind stuff in non-lore videos he’s a funny guy

@flippylekitty

58:55 To be fair, the fish actually speeds up each time you play the level, so it is actually significantly more difficult to dodge than when you played the level before. Thanks, Sticker Star.

@TruBluLew23

6:02 what you have to remember is that this was the era of Nintendo Power and Strategy Guides. This was one of those things that you’d only know about because you either hand the magazine or had the strategy guide. A lot of games in this time period had stuff like this but that’s what made strategy guides and by extension in the coming years, GameFAQs so amazing.

I remember during another 100% marathon when someone asked about doing this very challenge, Nathaniel initially shot it down in part because of TTYD and the tattle log.

Now, a little over a year later, here we are, doing the challenge. With the new rules in place allowing for the timer to be paused, these challenges will definitely be more doable as they won’t be taxing on the mind and body as much. It may be a while before we see another challenge like this again, but I will be there, rest assured, to watch every moment of it, good or bad.

@nijistrems6763

58:39 So actually, fun fact I learned from watching the GOAT Bringle's playthrough of Sticker Star, you being fatigued by this point in the game might not be the only reason you kept dying to the fish. During his playthrough chat notified him that due to some weird ass oversight in the game's code, the fish gets more difficult the more times you play through the stage. IIRC it's something with how the fish's attacks progressively speed up the further into the stage you get and there's likely something that doesn't reset properly behind the scenes but while the attack pattern might be the same, the fish will genuinely start attacking you at blistering speeds until it's basically unplayable. There was a noticable increase in speed happening when he played the stage a third time and past that it just got ridiculous LMFAO

Sticker Star's wack as hell is the end takeaway from this

Feel free to use this out of context.

@melvv18

I will never shame someone for prioritizing their wellbeing over following the rules of a self-imposed challenge.

@alfiebell6058

1:14:11 as weird of an idea it is having objects as bosses, i love how creative it.

@jamesterry3464

I love this new, healthier way of doing the timer. I was getting worried for your health during the 2d Mario and smash bros marathons. While they are entertaining videos that I rewatch regularly for some nice background noise, I’m glad you’re doing this new way. These videos are likely a mammoth undertaking already, so jeopardizing your health definitely doesn’t help

@sperryyoungerjr.3985

8:32 as a certain Xenoblade Chronicles character once said, "It's good to keep a record." Always save your game.

@Amazee316

I think it's safe to say that Intelligent Systems didn't make Super Paper Mario with any completionist aspect in mind. They just wanted people to enjoy the game for what it is.

@PeakKazuma

1:15:16 btw, Olivia literally tells you that the confetti that doesn’t fill the holes is not wasted, and just goes back into your bag.😅

@nicobbq

What a journey! Congratulations, gamer!

@jphil0

1:14:55 Confetti that doesn’t reach the not bottomless holes isn’t actually wasted 🎉 Edit: Olivia tells us this
