@SnEAnts

Its been pointed out I called these little critters "silvertails" when in fact I misspoke. They are Springtails to be clear! Sorry! 🤦‍♂️

@AntsMinnesota

14:45 Just so you know I’m pretty sure their called springtails not silvertails.

Castaneus & Americanus both nest in soil, I think they like medium amounts of humidity... a lot more than say Penn, Herc, Nearc ect.

Nice video
keep going

@bitritch4649

Nice video about this sp, it looks like you are getting majors very soon😌 my colony got there first around 50 workers. They colony now is about 80 workers and already about 5 majors. They really are amazing but it takes a long time for them to get the deeper orange color. Good luck with your colony💪🏻

@thebigapple4010

Audio is a bit low on this one but great video nonetheless!

@GoodluckMichael-er6hy

Like your videos,
Even though they are not popular.
Don't get discouraged😢, keep it up
Btw great video, really informative and satisfying😊❤

My Camponotus Pen queen has a few more workers(5) than my unknown Camponotus queen(3) even though I got then around the same time so probably the genes. I thought the unknow Queen was Camponotus maculatus but the workers are black so i don't know.

@ChrisJetton

Do they prefer standing up or laying down nests?

@GoodluckMichael-er6hy

If i may ask, are aspirators ideal, and not bad to the health, for outworld cleaning
Im scared that they might have some health effects to me
Because it's actually ants feaces and waste im actually sucking up, with my lungs, i need advice before I get one😢😅

@Tisztak

What is your nectar mix?

@aaronp4455

I used to have Camponotus Castaneus, and they grew really fast and then the Queen died and l was sad. They are a beautiful red color! Ending that sadness with some good news. I just recently got a new Camponotus Pennsylvanicus Queen and she has eggs and I'm hoping that she does well! @aarons_ants
