It's called a rookie pole in trucking! It's so they can see where their fenders are as well as the front of the truck when driving or pulled up close to something!
In the old days we called them rookie rods.
It is to show the width of the truck
It's a Peterbilt, air up your seat to seeπ
Those are fender guides so you don't hit you bumper on a curb
There's an easy way to see your position with a view of in front of the bumper and 2 ft beside the front wheel. It cost about $20 and a hell of a lot cheaper than the insurance. I've used it for 35 years.
Its called a chicken stick so you know the width of your front bumper or fenders. But it really is just another piece of chrome that you can hang lights on.
It's called raising the seat
they are side markers and they help you see in front of the truck
They show where the bumper is so you don't scratch or destroy anything
I used these on my conversion van. Front amber ,back in red. Body edge lights for blind spots.
There should be a button near your mirror heat fluid gauge on dash that can raise it on KW & Pete's. Volvo, button is closer to the blinker fluid gauge.
You have to adjust the height on hide on them they let you know where your bumper is
Really? People hate on these things too? I think they look awesome, and yea thats their real purpose. Nobody needs these to know where their bumper is. It's for looks. Bores Manufacturing makes these. Got a pair on my old pickup truck.
It's a corner marker.
It means you need to start doing videos about something you know about
It is the warning signals for whatever you turn. Iβm pretty sure.
The company that sells these as in the in business since 1972 and was started by a truck driver. This truck driver is now 93 years old . Call you young truck drivers you got it going on.
They are called curb finders. It's a old school thing.
