That "May/might run games in probably 1080p" Was the cherry on top for the 60 series cards
50 series GPUs also have support for 422 video, which can give a massive boost in editing even compared to higher end 40 series card!
Bring back 1 word pc questions.
The 3900x is still pretty reasonably powerful, I support that editor
I have a Ryzen 7 7800x3d with a GeForce 5070 and 32GB ram with 2tb. It’s great in 1440p. I’m going to use it for content down the road. I’m excited
I love when you post a video about the stuff instead gaming
Holy s*** finally. I need more tips on workstations
This is legitimately perfectly timed My friend is looking to build a pc that can smoothly handle after effects and here is the parts I'm thinking of going with Cpu: intel i9-13900k/14900k Gpu: rtx 3060 (tryna keep it budget+ he won't game most of the time) Ram: 64gb Storage: 2/4tbs of NVMe ssd m.2 And probably a 750w psu. He's going to do professional (he claims)video editing . I think I can get a build like this for like 1500$ or something
I've been rendering on blender for work and the best budget build for a competant computer I can recommend is the 7900x ryzen CPU paired with the 5070 ti. Can literally do anything with those two and it's not as much of a power hog as other components, you dont need anything more unless you are rendering for hours and hours
Finally upgrading my pc from a gtx 1070 and a intel i5-8600K to a rx 9070 xt and a ryzen 9700x
Also currently using a 3900x with 64gbs of ram for editing lol works great so far but I mostly film and edit in 1440p seems to be a pretty good sweet spot. The few times I've used 4k in editing it seems to handle it fine as well. Also using a 6800 gpu
I’m rocking a 3900x with a 4080 I’m getting over 160+ fps 90% of the games on 1440 not really video editing but do podcast editing everything is still fine I’m happy with it
Finally his dlss and fsr arc is over
I'll be going with the Ryzen 4070 thanks
Intel Arc cards for primarily video editing is very affordable if you can find one close for MSRP, especially the B-series.
You will need high amounts of VRAM and an Intel K only series CPU to have a great experience of scrubbing and playback with multiple cams on the timeline and depending on H.264 or H.265. The new 50-series GPUs have the same codecs the Intel K CPUs have, so if you want to stay AMD which are amazing CPUs, then you’ll need a 12 or 16 gig 50 series depending on how complicated you want your timeline to be, but if it’s just a singular video footage timeline, follow his advice. TechNotice seems to be the only channel out there that focuses on the creation side of hardware that I’ve come across that is good and that’s what he pushes for ideal: Intel K-only series CPUs or 50-series cards and high VRAM and as a hobbyist of video editing, I have to agree. My 5900x and 4070TiS can stutter in DaVinci on playback and scrubbing with multiple cams on hi-res footage, however, completely doable with patience
I can't find a single Rx 6600 new for 200$ , please any recommendations for 200$ GPU right now
Do a series on everything you need to know abt building your first one
If you're doing high end CGI i recommend a high VRAM card like a 90 series card or using multiple cards
