He lived in three centuries!! 😮
His piano quintet is a masterpiece
Need to hear his music.
Sonata 4 last movement in the background!!
The second movement to his fourth sonata is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. We need an Ornstein movie.
Many of his Waltzes, recorded complete by Arsentiy Kharitonov on the Toccata Classics label, are truly beautiful.
Morning in the woods, one of the most complex and beautiful musi pieces ever created by men
Ornstein is great! If anyone's interested, there's a very affordable Dover collection of his works. Hoping we see more publishers printing his work in the future, since he's a crazy underrated composer. Perhaps not as 'important' as Scriabin, but has a sort of reverse progression to him. Also, check out Feinberg, if you haven't. Another prolific and underrated composer with a strong emphasis on the piano.
He made that weird dance of the giants song. I remember.
I discovered an interesting composer . Very interesting.
His fifth sonata has the lick Edit: fourth sonata, not fifth
He and his buddy Smough also kicked my ass too many times in Dark Souls 1.
Isn't he Ornstein from dark souls 1 which drops leo ring when killed?
