Something I don’t think anyone’s pointed out? The background in the chorus is space. Through a worker’s visor. The chorus may well be the Company taunting a fired employee that if he had tried a little harder, he wouldn’t be suffocating in the vacuum of space. Great work as always

Know what little detail I like best in this whole thing? The use and emphasis of the word "gold", specifically. Because, with the supposed true motives and nature of the Company, the gold "you'll be so deserving"? It will never come. It will simply make you a target, for when it eventually emerges. There is no gold except that which is used to pacify it. That "gold you're earning" shall join the molten churning that was supposedly its source. We all try to reassure ourselves, this job is worth it, I'll surely get paid appropriately for it. We will not. We will never be paid for services rendered. By the time the check would come due, even if we were not ejected into the vacuum of space. But that is something that could never be known by one who does not know the tale of Sigurd. Perhaps the "you're in deep" note was not on the ship at all when this poor soul appeared. Maybe they simply dismissed or discarded it. But regardless, it is only the ignorance of their true purpose that this soul remains so eager.

Much like the game, I expect one thing and the video pulls one over on me. I was really thinking it was going to end with the ejection sequence, but what we got was quite a bit better. The music is incredible as always and the visuals fit so incredibly well, too.
