My guess is that the New Super Mario Bros series scarred them to the point where if a new 2D Mario game isn't 100& completely different from the New series, then it's bad or something. Like this game being in 3D-2D might've been enough to get them to not like the game

Its the same argument people make for mgs, death stranding, and games alike where its " oh u gotta play more, but if someone isnt hooked enough to play more they wont play more, especially when wonder was hyped so much , devils advocate

No new music we've been listening to bah bah pretty much since 2006 in the new super series has been out since 2016 after new super Mario Bros Wii add new super Mario Bros 2 and new super Mario Bros u and deluxe pretty much here the same music with every other game. Wonder has brand new wonderful music and it has Daisy and toadette. I know this is an old video but yeah this is a bad review
