If you get one of these drive adapters with an ethernet adapter, you can still play games like Metal Gear Solid 3's online mode, Star Wars Battlefront 2's online mode, among other ones. Still a very viable console today.
This is amazing but our emulators works better today with 4K upscaling too
My god, you’re doing a better job of preserving the Silent Hill games than Konami are!
My brother stole and sold my PS2. Wish I'd bought another one a few years ago when they were cheap, now they're back in fashion they're expensive again.
That was the greatest stash hiding spot
OH FUCK! I just remembered I left my stash in my ps2 from 03. Well i guess my nephew has some of my old weed.
I bought one because of this guy, no regrets! Pure nostalgia
That’s pretty sweet!! Need a good mod for a ps2 slim lol
Getting your library together on a modded ps2 is a long nightmarish process but once it’s done it’s so worth it
"Backups" haha
Wow I still have this beast just sitting there looking at me everyday. The laser stopped working
I thought this was common knowledge. It’s cool people are rediscovering the modding scene. I did this back in 07 just to bypass the bug that Ar Tonelico 2 had with the final boss. It was also a nice to keep a huge collection of jrpgs, region exclusive titles, and imports.
Fun fact, theyve found a way to get these to support 16 or 18tb drives now.
Console modding community is insane! The guys working on these are awesome. Even on most PS3, you can install a custom firmware, install game backups from PS3, PS2 and yes, PS1 too. 🙂
"backups" lol
Now I want a PS2
Jokes on you, I have a ps2 slim
I thought you were gonna say you can put your weed in there😂😂😂😂😂
I have a 6tb hard drive for my ps2! Almost 2400 ps2 games
