It took an innocent and vulnerable baby to restore and sustain Gihun’s shattered belief in humanity til the end. That belief caused Gihun to sacrifice himself for the baby and made everything he had gone through worthwhile.
I like how jump rope was in the same room as glass bridge. And hide and seek felt like a nod to marbles with its maze.. sort of. The last game was just squid game in the sky lol
All the players who kept voting to continue the games had all died.
Honestly, I think this season was a very very solid wrap up. Of course, it had some cringey parts, like the vips acting, but overall it really was amazing. It is insane how after 2 seasons of constant death the creators still managed to figure out new ways to make us care for new, complex characters and make their deaths shoking, emotional and gut wrenching and all of that despite the fact that all of us expected them to happen. They managed to create a show with constant violence without desensitizing and dehumanizing it. And for that they have all of my respect. So please please PLEASE can we make an online petition to stop those spin offs? I absolutely hate the fact that I can't just simply love Cate Blanchett's cameo and the sugestion that it's a global machine. I want to love it, it adds to the story, this concept of this being an unimaginable, unspoken global machine. It adds to the mystery, it adds to the dystopia that Gi-Hun really couldn't do anything to stop it, the only thing he could do was to not lose his humanity. I want to love it but I hate it because I know that it isn't there just to enrich the story, it's there to enrich netflix by opening a window for new cash-grab spin-offs. I don't care who directs it, I don't care that Garadriel will be in it. NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE AMERICAN PEOPLE. VIPs SAID IT THEMSELVES. THE BEST EDITION WAS IN KOREA. LEAVE IT THERE. I DON'T WANT TO SEE WORSE ONES. Gosh I hate capitalizm. Why does Netflix want this show to become the very thing it is supposed to critisize???
The VIP dialogue sounds like the conversation I heard in a TOEFL test.
Gihun knew in the end there was always a trick to these games as well this being the last game only one would remain alive as there was only one winner of the squid game. Once the baby became a player his fate was sealed and knew he wasn't going to win again but would have to save the baby. That was a great twist and was a real play on the players to test their humanity. The VIPs knew as well that only one could remain. The last words were powerful by Gi hun as well. The ending was sad but perfect and the last shots of the blowing up of the games was a perfect ending to the show along with seeing what happened to the final characters who remained. Another perfect ending to a series as well.
The last three games were more cruel than the first three.
The director really didn’t want to give us a happy conclusion, he really wanted to make us cry. This season was incredible man I loved this season
Netflix is Shameless for that hinting U.S Spin off Teaser
From the terrifyingly lethal 'Hide and Seek' with armed seekers to the treacherous 'Jump Rope' of trust, all leading to the ultimate, sacrificial 'Sky Squid Game' — humanity was pushed to its absolute breaking point in every single round
Hwang absolutely cooked when he made the sky squid game. That truly explored human nature the best out of any of the games. For me, its in conversation with glass bridge as the best game in the series.
5:04 ultimately meant double kill
I cried so much and almost passed out from a breakdown when I watch the final season. I almost had to go to the hospital.
In hide and seek, why leave the door wide open when they found the exit. Didn’t make any sense at all, the reds weren’t really trying to open doors anyway.
We need a Squid Game 0 on how the Front Man became the Front Man.
Sky Squid Game was my favorite game in the show
Its so funny that all theories about the games pre release were false, like legit all theories on all plattforms🤣
Thanks i didn't know how jump rope works
What made me upset is that we had all these random nobodies make it to the finals and not the main cast.
