As much as I like Audrey Hepburn, I wish there was a full-length film of Julie Andrews in the role. Even if it was just a recording of the stage production.

@ajaykustomer6639

Thank goodness Julie is still with us. Singing or no singing, she is a gift.

@petradichavich

Thank God this exists!!

@brucebarton4645

One of the greatest musical comedy legends ever. What a voice. What an actress. What a woman. Jack Warner was so short sided. But she is forever engraved into everyone's hearts as Mary Poppins, which won her the big prize.

@NoName-ge6wc

A brilliant shining light. Julie is a treasure to the world.

@StreetCornerMemories

As great as Julie Andrews sounds, no one mentioned the backup singers! They sound great as well!

@Sarah-cb6or

How happy I would be to see Julie's entire My Fair Lady.

@cristinagalaxyfun

This is beautiful ❄️

@beatlephan

I love this woman. Her voice, her expression, her energy, everything. She is the whole package. And she is incredibly beautiful.

@BTURNER1961

I recall Andrews saying this was her toughest stage roll, because she was on stage a lot, and the demands on the voice were exhausting. I don't remember the date of the interview ( before or after Victor/Victoria) If you think about all that half singing half screeching with those vowels in that harsh cockney through the first act, only to have all those more classical demands of a pure soprano throughout the second and third acts, it could tear one's voice to shreds with 5 or six performances a week. It may well be one of the most challenging parts on the musical stage.

@daverenick5830

this will stop me from listening to hard rock anyday...My Fair Lady and Camelot, the original casts doing these great songs, just get me, and have since I was a child.

@yogidogiman

She plays it so innocently and hopeful. Just beautiful.

@wotan10950

My kindergarten teacher played this song for our class in 1960. I was enraptured by the melody and Julie’s voice. So many decades later, I know it’s not really a happy song; Eliza is homeless. She is longing for a roof over her head, a warm room, a morsel of sweets, a warm friend.

@sushicourier

This was March 19th, 1961. She was out of the show a couple of years by this time, but went back to perform for the Ed Sullivan Show.

@missycrane86

I love Audrey but Julie is next level wonderful in every role and I wish we’d been able to see her in the movie of My Fair Lady 😢

@snonami

「サウント・オブ・ミュージック」と並ぶジュリー・アンドリュースが歌い演じる最高のミュージカルだと思います。動いて見れるのが嬉しい!ありがとう!!

@PitmanPlatform

Growing up, I only had the movie to experience My Fair Lady. As I got older, I managed to find the original Broadway cast recording of My Fair Lady. Rex Harrison and Julie Andrews to listen to whenever I wanted. I never looked back since. I watch the movie for Rex Harrison... but nothing can beat Julie Andrews' voice.

@shaunmcdonough9016

The greatest casting injustice that was ever done was not allowing Julie Andrews to play Eliza Doolittle in the film version of My Fair Lady. It was her role, she was born to play it. We are all poorer it didn't happen.

@sjs928

NEVER SAW THIS … completely amazing performance ! Live , what a beautiful voice

@snookdock

She's an angel.
