Why is the ending so dumb? Probably because a notorious serial killer would not be cuffed so loosely that he still has full use of his hands and arms. Also, cops would not let him pick up a bicycle because now he has a weapon. By Shyamalan standards Trap was ok, but that ending made it real stupid.
