Five Atari 5200 Games Still Worth Playing Today!

This is the debut episode of a new series of video's called Five to Try, where I feature 5 games for a system that I recommend buying and trying if your new to the console, or maybe you've just over looked them for some reason. Regardless, when it comes to the Atari 5200 Supersystem it's easy to get blinded by some of the more desirable titles like H.E.R.O, Megamania, Pitfall II, Gremlins, Rescue on Fractalus, and Dreadnaught Factor. These five inexpensive and fun games are just as worthwhile to track down and buy, and you'll save some serious dough because of it!

Also to people looking for a new console to collect for, the Atari 5200 library is still surprisingly affordable compared to the rest that seem to have suffered from inflation and the collectors bubble. So you may want to look at the Atari 5200 period. I hope you guys enjoy the video, and if your watching this on the day it premiers, have a Happy Thanksgiving to my American viewers!

The Atari Network channel has 3 goals (besides entertainment) that I hope embodies everything the channel does:
1. Bring awareness to Atari, especially the often ignored Tramiel and 7800 era
2. Make sure the hardworking people both new and old (from the old guard at Atari corp to the new developers keeping Atari alive) get the recognition that they deserve for their hard work
3. Preserve the history of Atari in the video game hobby so that it survives long after us
