Original Stories Aren't Dead, Your Movie Just Sucks

With the release of Pixar's Elio, we get yet another iteration of "wHy dOnt pEOple SuPoRT oRigINal mOviEs!?!? as if the only thing a film/show/game has to do to earn your money is not be a repeat of something that has come before. Original storytelling is far from dead, Hollywood simply isn't the dominant powerhouse in the industry that it once was. There are far other, better places that you can find quality, original stories.
