Oliver Buys A Farm

In this classic series' premiere episode, Oliver Wendell Holmes, a big city lawyer who longs for a farm of his own, takes the big step and buys a spread near Hooterville. Eddie Albert stars as the attorney with the hankering for the soil. Eva Gabor plays his glamorous wife, Lisa, whose response to the news of his farm purchase is decidedly explosive. John Charles Daly narrates the tale and Uncle Joe (Edgar Buchanan), Sam Drucker (Frank Cady), Fred Ziffel (Hank Patterson) and Floyd Smoot (Rufe Davis) from "Petticoat Junction" also join in the fun!
